Our cadre of crafty culinarians will fuss over an incredible wine dinner at Proximity Hotel on July 25, 2018 benefiting The CARE Project, an organization that brings hope to those with hearing loss. The menu features local summer ingredients and each course is paired with exclusive Fess Parker Winery wines from Santa Barbara, CA. Liz Cooper from the winery will be on-hand along with our culinary team to guide you through the dinner.

Price is $100 plus tax (includes service charge and a donation to The CARE Project). For reservations, order your tickets online.

For every ticket sold, Proximity Hotel and Print Works Bistro will donate $10 back to the CARE Project.

About the CARE Project

The CARE Project, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope to families who have children and/or adults with hearing challenges through counseling experiences aimed at the processing of the emotional stages of grief.

CARE also is a tool for teaching professionals and pre-professionals about the importance of active listening with their clients/patients and validating their emotional state.

CARE is a multidimensional tool that addresses the grief associated with hearing loss for individuals, families, communities, professionals and pre-professionals.

Growing Towards Acceptance

Undeniably, life’s journey is full of challenges. Arriving with those hurdles are different emotions, dependent upon circumstances. An individual facing the challenge of hearing loss needs to be able to rely on a strong support system within the family and community. The CARE Project has a number of components designed to bring families and professionals together for sharing and processing emotions, with the ultimate goal being acceptance and advocating for the best life possible. About Fess Parker Winery

The Parker family vineyard is the 120-acre vineyard named after Fess Parker’s late son-in-law, at the 400-acre Foxen Canyon Road estate where the winery is located. They also source grapes from Camp Four vineyard in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, which Parker planted in 1998 as well as vineyards in the cooler Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley appellations. Blair Fox assumed the role of head winemaker in 2005. In recent years, the winery has sharpened its focus to produce more small-lot, vineyard-designated wines made from high-quality Rhone and Burgundian varietals, which have won awards in national wine competitions.
